A FEW WORDS ABOUT THE EXHIBITION

On the occasion of International Women's Day, the art space Imagine Visual Arts presents on Saturday, March 9, the solo exhibition of the talented painter Katerina Dimitriadou, entitled "Femme". The exhibition opens the door to an impressive world full of intensity and passion, which the artist highlights in a unique way through the art of painting.

With interest and sensitivity, Dimitriadou focuses on the female reality, unlocking its complexity and richness. With intense enthusiasm, she draws inspiration from women to create works that highlight not only their external beauty, but also their conscious mental and emotional life. With a technique that combines rich colors and textures with gold or silver leaves, she creates works with impressive tactile realism, which shine with vitality.

The exhibition highlights the female face, focusing on youthful and female figures with a detailed and close-up look. Her portraits emerge like jewels, exploring the female existence with a unique combination of history and art. Dimitriadou does not limit herself to realism, but launches the narrative with dynamic painting, highlighting the importance of inner truth.

In addition to depicting external beauty, the artist allows the charm of youth, makeup and radiant gaze to function as gateways to the inner world of the figures in her works. With a realistic approach, she reveals their personality and inner quests, creating a sensitive window to the anxieties and questions behind the external appearance.

Curated by art historian Eleni Gatsa, the exhibition honors Women's Day with respect, love and admiration, offering a journey into the essence of female beauty.

Biographical information about Katerina Dimitriadou:

Katerina Dimitriadou was born in Thessaloniki. She studied painting at the Athens School of Fine Arts in the painting studio of Dimitris Kontos (1991-1996). At the same time, she completed her studies in Architectural Design and Graphic Design, graduating with honors. She is a member of the Athens School of Fine Arts Alumni Association. She has held 6 solo exhibitions in Athens and Thessaloniki and has participated in many group exhibitions in Greece and abroad. She lives and works in Thessaloniki.
