Μαριέττα Παπαχειμώνα

Marietta Papachimona was born in Athens. She studied Sociology at Panteion University and continued with postgraduate studies in Criminology. For several years, she worked in public secondary education. Her artistic quest led her to the Athens School of Fine Arts (ASKTA), where she studied under the guidance of Michalis Manousakis and Giorgos Kazazis and graduated from the First Painting Workshop, under Angelos Antonopoulos. In 2022, her works were selected for the permanent collection of the IASO group as well as the permanent collection of the city of Messolonghi at the Chrysogelos Building, recognizing her contribution to contemporary Greek art. In her personal life, she is married and the mother of two daughters. Her career includes participation in many important exhibitions
