Apostolis Philippou was born in 1971 in Athens. He began his academic journey bystudying Marketing Management at Deree College. Later, he pursued his passion forpainting at the 3rd workshop of the Athens School of Fine Arts (ASFA), guided by Mr.Marios Spiliopoulos, and successfully graduated with Honours in 2017. During histime at ASFA, he also explored sculpture in Mr. Tranos' studio and attendedperformance seminar courses conducted by Ms. Emilia Bouriti. His academicexcellence was recognized when he received the IKY scholarship for the academicyear 2011-12. He has participated in numerous group exhibition. In addition to hisartistic endeavors,he works as a substitute teacher in the field of visual arts withinthe secondary education system, with a specialization in special education.
